My guest for this conversation is Laura Ivey, a Director of Research at Edison Research. She manages Edison’s content strategies, including marketing and social media efforts, and is a part of the Share of Ear® data team. Laura’s career began in local radio and has always centered on audio in some form, including a combined 10 years with Arbitron and Nielsen where she was an Account Director in the Southeast U.S. for the Audio division of Nielsen, and a VP of Radio sales for Arbitron joint venture Scarborough Research. Laura is a graduate of The University of Tennessee and earned a Master’s degree in Applied Sociology from UMBC, The University of Maryland Baltimore County, where her research focused on social media usage.
